Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or phone. It lets the site remember something between one page and the next — that a form has been filled in, for example, or which options you chose.
Some cookies disappear when you close the browser. Others stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. What this site uses
We keep this deliberately short. Start&Grow does not run advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Essential cookies. These make the site work and cannot be switched off from here. They keep the contact form secure against forgery, remember display preferences set by the theme, and keep the site signed in if you are one of our administrators. Without them, forms and parts of the layout stop working.
Contact form. When you use the form on the Contact page, a cookie helps the form submit safely and stops the same message being sent twice.
Email and enquiry tools. Our host provides a tool that records when an enquiry comes in through the site, so we can reply to it and see whether our pages are doing their job. It is tied to the enquiry, not to you across the internet.
3. Analytics
At present this site does not run Google Analytics or any similar third-party analytics service, and no advertising or social media tracking pixels are installed.
Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which record things like the pages requested and the IP address that requested them. That is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
4. Consent
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work do not need your permission, and those are the only kind we currently set.
If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask you first through a consent banner, and nothing non-essential will be set until you agree. This page will be updated at the same time.
5. Cookies set by other companies
When you book and pay for a call, that happens through a third-party booking and payment provider. That provider sets its own cookies, which are necessary for the payment to work securely, and it has its own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control them.
The same applies to any external site we link to.
6. Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set the browser to warn you before a site stores one. Every browser handles this differently — look for Privacy or Cookies in its settings.
Blocking essential cookies will stop the contact form working, and may break other parts of the site.
You can also clear cookies already stored, at any time, from the same place.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove anything that sets cookies, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
8. More information
How we handle personal information generally is set out in our Privacy Policy.
If you have a question about cookies on this site, email hello@startngrow.co.uk.
